6.8 ammo for coyotes & hogs

I've got all the parts to build my first 6.8 AR and I wanted to know what bullet yall recommend for hunting hogs & coyotes? I know they are opposite ends of the spectrum as hogs have thick skin and yotes have thin skin, but what would yall recommend? I'm not trying to save the hide on coyotes, and I will harvest the meat from my hogs when needed for myself or a friend. I'd like to stay with 1 round for both applications. However, if I can use 2 different rounds without a change in point of impact then I'm open to that as well.

Some additional info on my setup: 16" Wilson combat barrel, mid-length gas system, and a suppressor (when it gets out of jail).

The hornady 120 gr sst has worked great for me on pigs. And if you're not worried about hides on coyotes anything works.

I have been shooting Sierra 90 gr hp with good success. Just loaded another 100 last night.

My 6.8 likes Federal Fusion and Remington Accutips. In fact, either will shoot to the same point of aim. Lucky me !

          For factory ammo, these: http://shopwilsoncombat.com/68-SPC-9...o/A68-95-TTSX/

After reading a whole lot of reports on 68forums.com this bullet was the clear winner for its ability to leave all its energy in the animal. http://68forums.com/forums/showthrea...rnes-TTSX-info

I've dropped deer and hogs with it and have no complaints.

Factory Hornady 120 SST's dropped both of these in their tracks. one was ear holed at 85 yards, the other was a running texas heart shot at 211. The THS entered about an inch right of the anus and ended up in the left shoulder. Front flipped and twitched and was done.

I've had good luck with the 95 grain TTSX and the 115 grain federal fusion

Thanks for the advice so far. I think I'm going to try the 120 SST, the 95 TTSX and maybe the 115 federal fusions. My dad and I will prolly end up loading our own rounds when it's all said and done

Excellent choices, especially the first 2 IMO.

                    Report back.

I will report back with my results. However, it may be a while. I built my AR today and realized I didn't buy a gas block, oops. And I'm in San Marcos for school so it may be a few weeks before I get to go back home and test them out. I've been studying my rear off for my MCAT so I can get into medical school
