I have one on my AR. I think it is a great scope. I have the high rings on mine. The only problem I have with mine is that I don't shoot it enough...

Heard great things about the Sparc II. Recoil brutality beat it and it wouldn't give up. May be a smaller/lighter option for you. Going to be picking one up and change my set-up here in a bit.

We hand over the Vortex Sparc II to a Marine to put it to the test and see if this optic could take a hit or will it have a glass jaw.

Also the Sparc II has a multi stack mount that comes with it so you can play with the height to suit your needs.

I currently have the Strikefire II on my Colt. It's seen 500-600 hundred rounds and absolutely no complaints.

I also had the Sparc II on a 300 BO. While similar, the Sparc II is a little smaller, and, the dot is more crisp being a 2moa vs the 4moa of the Strikefire II.

Either way, i don't think you can go wrong. I also owned an Aimpoint Pro for awhile, and, for what "I" use it for, i don't see the need to spend the extra $$$

Check Amazon , Ebay and Slickguns for deals .

I've got two of them. One on an AR and one on a 10/22. No problems with either one. I'd buy them again.
