    7mm-08 rem

So I just got a cva scout in 7mm-08 for gander early this month after 4 boxs of ammo and 2 scopes I finally have it shooting quarter size groups at 100 yards . But the main reason for this thread is to see how many on the green screen use the 7mm-08 for hunting. What do you hunt with it. What round do you use for what?

          Love the 7mm08...
I use Barnes vortx 120 grain ammo. Last time I took it to the range, I was printing cloverleafs at 100 yards.

I use it quite a bit for texas hunting, and woudn't hesitate to take it on a sheep hunt in the mountains. I really like the Hornady superformance ammo loaded with 130 gr. GMX pills as factory fodder.

Our family has killed several elk, a couple of red deer, a bison and many deer with the 7-08 using Hornady Superformance

Same gun, shooting 139 grain Hornady Interlock hand loaded to a 60% charge. My sons gun so reduced recoil is a must until he grow up a little more. Only taken 1 pig with it so far but it did great at 100 yards on a 80lb pig.

Myself and my gf both shoot 7-08. Use barnes 120 ttsx. Have killed wt and red deer with them this year. It's a great round.

Ammo is anywhere from 18 a box to 50+ for the higher quality stuff but the average is about 28 a box acadmy seems to have it most of the time but only rem corloks and hornady so far
