    300 BO pistol

I kind of have an itch to pick one of these up. Im curious to hear some opinions from anyone that has one. Good bad or indifferent. im thinking im going to go less than 10" on barrel

Build an sbr. I was about to build a 300 pistol but then someone showed me how easy it is to just file the paperwork and built the short barreled rifle. Literally costs around 250$ more to build the rifle.

I bought an aero lower last week and had it engraved. Filed my form one a week later. Ordering pieces as I go. Do it man!

pony up and get a good one. Pistols/SBR's can be tricky to get the timing right, which makes you have to mess with different weighted buffers. PWS is costly, but you will not have any problems, partially due to the gas block adjustment.

I guess the only set back being the wait for your stamp?

I built a 300 blackout pistol. But I am waiting for my Form 1 approval to turn it into a SBR. To me, the AR pistol is just too heavy to hold and shoot it like a pistol accurately without shouldering it.

I thought you have give the overall length when you filed your paperwork. What did you do to determine overall length since you building as you go? I'm starting the process now. I just ordered my lower.

I can look and tell you what a 7.75" upper is with a Magpul MOE stock is if you like. I believe it is either 27.75" or 28.75", but I can check and you can add from there.

Do it soon. Before July 13th, 2016. Stamp still $200.
The rules are changing. Cost is same but finger prints and pictures will be the required after that date.

Length of the receiver and a fully extended stock is 19 inches. Just add the length of your barrel minus flash hider. If your flash hider and barrel is permanent one piece, then you will have to include it in the measurement.
