A .223 with a muzzle break will kinda make the ears tingle if you forget ear pro. But a .308 is PAINFULL when the ear pro is forgotten. Trust me

Just because I'm tired of seeing people shoot without ear pro (my friend just got tinnitus from a single shot with his 300 WM), here's some info:
Instantaneous hearing damage occurs at 140 decibels and higher. Most pistols, rifles and shotguns are in the 150-160 dB range. PLEASE WEAR EAR PRO!
