This has got to be a joke

We have had price increases on several components and production costs over the past year, especially on the Maverick line since transitioning from the B&C stock to the current HS Precision model. We absorbed the increases as long as we could, but an adjustment was necessary. The cost on the Maverick and Ranger has increased by $100 for 2016.

Even with the new increase, we still feel these two models represent an exceptional value in the marketplace. Especially when you look at all of the features that are included as standard, and the man hours and attention that go into building them. They still come in hundreds of dollars less than what comparable rifles would from most other builders.

      Thanks,
      Robert
I agree with you Robert, they are still a good buy from everything I have heard about your rifles. I can't wait for my Ranger to be done. Really wanting to get some critters down with it. Wish I would have gotten in earlier so I could get into the picture contest also.

$100 won't stop me from having APR build my third.

IMO-you have it backwards-It's 90% special skills / tooling and 10% isn't that hard. You have to start with a good barrel then good / true machine work as a foundation. Without this foundation, the best stock, trigger and scope will make little difference.

To the OP, it's still a great value for what you get.
X2, great guys, and build great guns. Let me have a few extra dollars laying around and I would have another built in a heart beat
