    Knocked another doe down!

This was with my .450 Bushmaster during our deer deduction season(antlerless only). She was only around 60 or so yards, I think the range finder said 62. She tried to run up hill but didn't make it far and came down the hill and died. Total distance may 40 yards if you count her hill slide.

I've been wondering about one of those uppers. Sure did the trick on that one!

It was responsible for 5 of the six deer we killed. Like using a "magnum" muzzleloader with less recoil, less cleaning and few fliers. I have only factory ammo and never had a flyer. Usually pretty much always come close to clover leaf groups at 75 and 100 yards depending where I am set up at.

I love this gun and set up. I wish I could use my other rifles but, that ain't legal for me. Even if though I wouldn't get rid of it because for thick cover and smaller open fields this rifle really shines. You could shoot animals beyond 200 with very difficulty with a little practice. It is mostly designed for encounters from 0-200 yards. I have it a 1 1/2 or so high at 100 and it drops around 2.5 inches low at 200. I don't really guess on targets in the 0-200 range. Lots of energy transfer with the 250 grain bullet.
You guys need to google some of the hunting videos especially the black bear videos of guys using the .450 bushmaster.
