204 AR Build - Whos built one

Has anyone built a 204 or 22.250? What barrels/uppers did you go with? Any recommendations or preferences? Want a bull barrel whichever route I go.

Want it for Predator hunting and plinking to share with my kids. Would like to build a 204 for the versatility and light recoil.

pretty sure you will need to build on an AR10 platform since the 22-250 cartridge OAL is to long for the magazine

I believe Olympic Arms introduced one several yrs ago at the SHOT show

I'll be building a 204 AR when funds are available. I love that round. 39 grain blitzking is one of the nastiest rounds I've fired. I have a custom Howa bolt 204 that's my go to for everything.

You have your build mapped out already?

Nope. Nothing crazy though ,probably go with mostly spikes stuff again. Then add a 20" stainless heavy barrel. Free-floating rail, and Nikon 4x12 active reticle.

Bought an Rguns .204 upper. Know it shoots better than I do because my brother almost hole and holes them. Mine group is more like a clover, all touching though

I wanted to on this last AR but man a decent barrel off the shelf barrel was pricey compared to a 223 wylde so my decision was made by budget

I know where a factory DPMS A15 204 Ruger with 24" fluted and 5/8x24 threaded barrel for $700, but it's outside of Corsicana. He's also looking for a bolt gun in 204 or 243.

I'd like to see pictures. Not sure if I'm ready to part with my beloved 204 Howa. But anything can happen
