.280 Remington w/ Scope ?

My wife found a Remington 7400 .280 caliber w/ a NcSTAR 3-9X40E mil-dot scope and got it for me for Xmas.
I have had another .280 for years bolt action and like it.
My question is the scope I have not kept up with guns a whole lot never heard of this scope seems to be be great anyone have one.

shoot it and see if it holds zero, then look thru optics during lowlight situations to make sure you can see the crosshairs
