I fell in love with this rifle a few years ago and said I would have one at some point and a TBHr was nice enough to remember me saying if he ever sold his I would buy it. Probably could have almost built one for what I have in it. Kimber Mountain Ascent in .280AI.

I have an original 700Ti in 7mm-08 that weighs about 5lb 4oz without scope that would pack nicely through the mountains. Not sure it's a "dream setup" though and you'd have lots of your 50k left.

In any case, whatever you get, id personally go with a carbon fibre barrel to reduce your weight.

Probably a APR 6.5x284 .. Whatever they suggest on length with brake and stock I would like to put my hands on a few before making up my minds ..based of a 700 action with a Timney ..

I'd go with the Gunwerks Carbon X 6.5x284. My buddy has one and it's an awesome gun to shoot and light even with the G7 Nightforce 5.5x22x50 scope on it. I'd have the G7 BR2 RF to go with that. Use a Swaro Bino and spotting scope for picking out the targets

Mine will be a 6.5-300 Weatherby with a Pierce Titanium action, Manners CF stock and Proof Research CF barrel. Will be shooting Matrix 160VLD bullets.

Gunsmith will be my local guy that builds a fantastic rifle.
