    Finally jailbroke the Grail!

Despite their best efforts to take as long as humanly possible to make a simple change in their database I finally pestered two Cabela's stores into submission. I'm in line to pay for a gun I've been looking for since I bought my first Weatherby. And while all I ever hoped to find was a Deluxe model I lucked out and scored a Custom Shop Lazermark...in flawless truly like new condition.

So here it is, my holy grail. Lefthanded Weatherby Custom Shop Lazermark in 460 Weatherby Magnum. Yee-freaking-haw!!!

And if you're curious what I plan to do with it, drool on it mostly.

Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

Beautiful gun! That should be perfect for squirrels and rabbits and hill country deer.

$7 a round... I hope you reload. I notice they have some 450gr tsx loads that will stop just about anything in its tracks.

That being said beautiful rifle.. I bet it will thump a pig.

There was a lefty Deluxe Custom Shop model there for a long time...for even more than what I pad for this one. I tried to bully them into coming off the price for about 18 months. They finally came off it $100 after sitting on it for 2 years and it sold the next week.

I had this one transferred from the Lacey, WA store the day it was listed.

Man, that thing is gorgeous. Looks like someone got a new bed time partner. Move over honey and make room. Lol.

And as an added BONUS, one of the gun counter chuckleheads just came by and handled it remarking "Absolutely incredible. Browning is well known in the industry as having the nicest bluing you can get on a gun".

OMFGoodness. I just had to smile and ask him nicely to put it down.

Well, I do see why you were willing to deal with the bunk to get that. Congrats. That will be a lot of fun.

                              That is GORGEOUS !

If I remember correctly the stocks for the 460s were made from mesquite because it was the only wood dense enough to stand up to the battering from the recoil lug ?

Fotis over on the Nosler forum shot a pronghorn with his 460 a couple of years ago.
Took off the entire off side shoulder
