I was in the Academy on 183 N of Austin this afternoon, and they just received a BIG shipment of ammo. They had a bunch of 200-round boxes of 115 gr. 9mm, Winchester white box, for $47.95 so I bought a couple.

Seems like yesterday Academy had white box Winchester for $2.99 a box and they had it by the pallet load.
Those days are gone forever.

I remember back in 19 and 96 when 9mm blazer ammo was about $6.99 a box.

I remember when I bought my first Ruger M77, it was $270 out the door from Oshamns. Winchester ammo was $9.95 a box, onsale it was $6.99. Could barely afford that.
