    Reticle subtensions help

Ok... in the stand... reading about this scope. Leupold 3x9x40. It has the RBR reticle. And I find a sebtention sheet with every reticle on it. An all it says is "dots represent 200,300,400,500" on a 200 yard zero...

Bs... not calibre specific nothing... can sombody figure out the actual subtext ions so I have a clue on what yardage they will hit...

If it said it was for a 308 and you were shooting a 308 you still would have no clue.

    2.19, 4.8 and 7.82 moa subtensions

This is the exact reason that I hate the bdc reticles lol.

"It said 400 yards for that line Leroy!! But I done missed down there!!"

You'll have to shoot it @ different distances to figure out where they measure for YOUR gun & ammo. A ballistic calculator can get you close if you are using known precise ammo (minute deviation in FPS from round to round) & you've chrono'd it.
