    affordable ar/sbr optic?

Didn’t want to highjack the other thread so here it is

Are there any decent ones that won’t break the bank? I’m not going to pretend like I need a battle ready rifle, just something for punching paper and occasionally pigs hopefully but looking at something for a .300bo sbr

I've been looking at the Leupold 1.25-4x20 Tactical VX-R Patrol for mine but haven't pulled the rigger yet. It's in the $600 range.

A pretty good setup for a 300BO for pigs, that would still be reasonably priced is one of the Burris 1-4's paired with a fast fire micro.

Something like this around $600: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/547...FZWCaQodJksJRQ

I've have a Primary Arms MD-ADS, it is an Aimpoint t-1 knock off, on an ak-47 for about a year now and have had good luck with it. Water proof fog proof 50,000 hour battery life. I don't know it the battery will last that long but it has been on since i bought it.

                1. What's your idea of not breaking the bank

                2. Red dot or magnified?

Im talking $600> this is a range gun and may be used for hogs if I'm lucky. I can not justify spending $800+ on an optic for this particular rifle

Red dot or magnified I haven't decided yet. Open to either but if magnified it'll be a 1-4 or along those lines

I have a primary arms red dot that had served me well and has never lost zero: http://www.primaryarms.com/primary-a...pa30mmrdgenii/

I also like this burris mtac for a 1-4x, which i will probably get when I build my 300blk sbr: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/640...-reticle-matte

I have a vortex red dot that was cheap, and I also have the Nikon m223 2-8 power that was cheap as well. The 2-8 is a really good all around scope for close and far. The red dot is on an SBR which I wanted to keep the weight down on. The Nikon is on a 16 inch with full quad rails

Some people are optics snobs. I have some really expensive stuff but also a lot of guns. I can't afford $800-$1500 optics on every gun I own

I have the Primary Arms MD-ADS and I love it. It's a little more pricey than the others. but has a 50k hour battery life and holds zero like an aimpoint.

Thanks guys I have some good ones to go get my hands on now.

I have some nice glass on my hunting rifles but not gonna pretend like this is a combat rifle and drop $800+
