I'm real partial to Leupolds but I continue to come across great deals on Zeiss both new and used. Starting to amount a Zeiss collection.

Sure. The conquest and vx3 both are way better and don't cost anywhere near 2k. AAANNNNDDDDD, they won't be broke in 6 months.

Do you hear about more problems with scopes that cost less than 500.00 than you do with ones that cost more? Absolutely but there are probably 50x's more of these scopes in use than the more expensive ones.

The glass in either of those is far superior to a Vortex PST.
I'm talking in terms of zoom numbers, lighted retical, FFP.
I was comparing the 6-24 style PST. Looks like Leupold VXIII goes up to 14 power. The Zeiss goes to 25, so that's comparable.Last edited by SB09; 12-02-2015, 10:54 AM.
