I'm real partial to Leupolds but I continue to come across great deals on Zeiss both new and used. Starting to amount a Zeiss collection.

      Luepold or Burris.

I've owned multiple luepolds, Burris, vortex, Nikon, bushnell, and BSA and my favorite has to be those two. I feel like Burris is under rated but the quality is there.

The MeoPro is the exact same scope as the older Zeiss Conquest. They are good scopes

Good deal on a nice scope, if you don't need more than a 3-9

Any way someone can explain to me what is so wrong with Vortex? What if a person doesn't have $2,000.00+ to spend on a comparable scope?

Sure. The conquest and vx3 both are way better and don't cost anywhere near 2k. AAANNNNDDDDD, they won't be broke in 6 months.

Neither of those scopes compare to the Vortex PST. Yea, if they all break in 6 months that's no good.

Several brands of scopes are also assembled in the same Chinese and assembly plants. Even most of the American made scopes are only assembled here from the same Chinese parts. Go look through different models and pick what you like.

Do you hear about more problems with scopes that cost less than 500.00 than you do with ones that cost more? Absolutely but there are probably 50x's more of these scopes in use than the more expensive ones.

                        Say what?

                        Don't compare in what way?

The glass in either of those is far superior to a Vortex PST.

Yea, sorry about that. Tha may have come off as rude a little bit now that I read it back to myself. Sorry about that Super Dave!

I'm talking in terms of zoom numbers, lighted retical, FFP.

I was comparing the 6-24 style PST. Looks like Leupold VXIII goes up to 14 power. The Zeiss goes to 25, so that's comparable.
