Anyone a member of one of these organizations?

Listened to Tim Schmidt, but he just seemed patronizing. Seemed like he was saying if I don't buy into his system I am not fully protecting my family.

I understand the premise, but wonder if it is needed, and if either of these organizations are any good.

Thoughts? Pros? Cons?
