What new rifle do I need?

Got some $ burning a hole in my pocket. Budget is under 1K either with or without optics.

Looking hard at a Tikka varmint, Ruger Hawkeye Predator, or Remington700 milspec.

I think I'd like something in 308, 260, or 6.5 creed.

This is what I have already:
300 Blackout AR
Remington 700 BDL 30-06
Winchester 30-30
Marlin .35 Remington

I love my .260 Rem! Better ballistic performance than .308 and a lot less recoil. Absolute pleasure to shoot!

With what you've got now I'd go down to the 6.5 Creedmoor. It's a smaller caliber and usual for long range, which are two holes in your current battery.

Tikka ctr in 260. Around 950.

Or save up another 700 and get an Alamo Precision Maverick custom built.

Tikka or the Ruger out of those 3. 6.5 or .308

If you want to go smaller, there's nothing wrong with the .260. I just picked the 6.5 Creedmoor because I'm a reloading nerd and think it's a really well-designed cartridge (though the 6.5x47 Lapua is even better.......)

I have a 6.5 Creedmoore and highly recommend it to anybody looking for a great ballistics gun with little recoil that's a blast to shoot! Can't really help on which make though.

Well I had a heck of a time finding one but I finally ordered a rifle...

Ruger Hawkeye Predator 6.5 Creed will be headed this way from Utah tomorrow. Thinking about topping it with a SWFA SS 10X

Just bought a Weatherby Gameguard (Vanguard with camo stock) and mounted a Nikon Prostaff 4-12X40 with DNZ one piece mount and rings for under 1k. It's been a pretty sweet shooting rifle.
