    How to mount thermal?

How would one go about mounting a Pulsar Quantum XD50 to their rifle/scope for hunting? Dad is looking at getting something and just wanting to learn how they mount up. Thanks for any help.

hmm not sure about the pulsar, does it have a reticle? or does it mount infront of the optic? I have 2 FLIR one is mounted infront of the scope one is a scope.

That's what I don't know about the pulsar. I don't think it has a reticle. I just see where people are talking it up in the night vision threads but I can't see how you would mount it.

I'm a Pulsar distributor so I'll be glad to help any way that I can.

The Pulsar Quantum's are handheld monoculars with no reticle. They are for spotting and observation only. That being said there is no reasonable way to mount it to a rifle. However if he's looking at something like the Pulsar Apex series, they are thermal rifle scopes and they have a built in mount that easily attaches to a picatinny rail. If mounting it to something like a bolt gun with standard bases, you'd need to buy some sort of a compatible rail that attaches to the bases.

I hope that explanation helps a little. If not, feel free to let me know and as I mentioned, I'm a dealer/distributor and offer TBH discounts on most all NV, so feel free to send me a PM if you'd like any special pricing or have more questions.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I will definitely let you know if he decides to go with the Apex. It looks like it might fit exactly what he wants.
