    Adding Water to suppressor?

I've got a Spectre II and have shot it on my 10/22 rifle, 22 mag, and 45/22 pistol. I've found a few subsonic rounds (don't remember the brand offhand) but the quietest is ever been was while shooting the 45/22 pistol. The 10/22 is louder tha I'd like. I'm having my Ruger American 22lr threaded as we speak. I've heard a few stories about adding some water into the suppressor to make them quiter. Anybody else do this?
I'm hoping the Ruger American will sound better. I even had the smith cut it down to 16.5 inches.

Some suppressors are meant to run wet. I would research it first with the mfg.

In my opinion, it ain't worth it. It's so messy. Might even get blowback on your face. But if you need to be quiet, you need to be quiet. You might also try wire pulling gel from the hardware store.

There is specific gel for this, its messy as hell and not recommended for all cans. Wire pulling gel is a good suggestion but never tried it

Wire pulling gel. But it's not worth it. Buy some gemtech subs. You literally only hear the firing pin drop on my t3. It's stupid quiet.
