    Ar15 stock help

Ok so to start, i am no novice to long guns and consider myself a pretty decent shot however i am having some issues with a new dpms ar15. I bought the gun for my other 1/2 a couple weeks back and added a nikon 3x9x40 with 1" raised rings. Today i had time to make it to the range to sight in. Anyhow, I got it sighted in but I honestly did not like it at all, the adjustable stock and my shoulder just did not get along no matter how i held/anchored it. The gun is a killer @ 100yds all day long as it sits now but its just not comfortable as a rifle that will be dedicated to deer/hog hunting and I know without a doubt that it will not be comfortable for my other 1/2 either.

Having said ALL of that i would like to know what brands/models of either fixed or retractable stocks you think would make the gun more comfortable to be utilized as a 100-150yd hunting rifle.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I use VLTOR Emod on all of mine. You will need to know if it's a commercial or mil spec buffer tube before buying any adjustable stock.

Mike D, how would I go about finding out if the buffer tube is mil spec or commercial?

Luth or magpul prs. Luth is cheaper and lighter.

I like my Doublestar TI 7 stock. Not bad for the price and has an awesome cheek weld
