?? Scope for .458 socom

Title says it. Any recommendations on a scope for a 458 ar. Was thinking maybe a 4 power big game type scope. Any thoughts?

3-9x40 vx-1 is what I have on my .450 Bushmaster. Plenty of eye relief and you can zoom in for those shots that are around 200 or when you are at the range and don't want to walk up to the target to see where you are hitting.

I have an eotech on mine and just plan on putting a 3x magnifier on it.

How far of shots are you planning on taking with it

My vote would be a eotech with a 3x magnifier (I like the vortex over the eotech on this personally) or the Leupold VX-R 1-4x with Fire dot.

A good red dot (I'm a fan of the Aimpoint T1 but any reputable brand will do well) or a 1-4X scope is what I would recommend. Don't need a lot of magnification for what a .458 SOCOM is designed for

Thanks fellas. Lots of good options. As far as how far. 100 yards or so. 150 max. I'm shooting a 350 grn now but am working up some 600 subs for it. Ov looked at some if y'all's suggestions online already. Thanks Ryan

I have this on one of my .223 AR's and really like it. Good option
