Sitting here since 5am. Never seen this many deer. Missed an opportunity in a nice 8 pt. it's almost 2pm and I'm still seeing constant deer movement. Bucks are hot on does. Crazy. Anyone having luck in my area?

What part of coke are you in? We haven't seen any real rut activity in NW coke and deer movement is horrible on and off feeders. Probably as bad as it's been all year.
Talked to another Hunter not far from us and they said the same thing -
I had bucks running hard in Bronte this weekend. The rut always seems early on our place. I watched a buck on a doe in the neighboring wheat field. One of the older 8 points I was after has already broken off an entire main beam.
My lease in Comanche had bucks not even interested in the ladies yet.Comment
