7.62 for hogs?

7.62 serves as a good gun for when SHTF. Also I can average getting rounds for about 20-25 cents each.

I like to practice more with the gun I hunt with. It saves me about $300-400 a year.

I went the same route you did. Started out with my 5.56 and switched over to sks due to price of ammo. Ran that for a while then thought about an AK. Went to a gun show and trying to get a feel for the AK I couldn't find any that felt right. Saw a radical firearms pistol AR chambered in 7.62x39 and that has been my hog gun of choice ever since.

Did some research on that round in AR platform and people have had trouble in the past getting the rounds to feed correctly. First day at the range I had one in about 100 misfeed...maybe around round 20. Ever since it has eaten everything I put through it.

On top of that, they are located right in Houston so a quick drive for me and I am at their shop.

I did feel there was a little play between top and bottom, but an acuwedge cleared that right up.

I filed my mags down to make them exit the mag easier.

They are pretty expensive and can be hard to find, but a Primary Weapons Systems x39 upper is the only way to fly with the right mags. Read up on them, true long stroke piston like the AK, but in an AR platform. They work flawlessly.

How accurate is super accurate? I've been curious about that brand

I have a radical 10.5" 300bo in route. I'll report after I receive and shoot it. Hell the upper was on sale for 199. That's without a bcg or charging handle. 16" is the same price.

I have an SKS, you have to like a compact scope, I don't think there is an option for a full length scope. They are cheap but not too pretty, never used it for hunting
