    G7 Rangefinder

Has anyone else had a chance to use or own the G7 BR2 Rangefinder? I just received them and am very impressed. Once inputting my data, ranging a road sign 1,350 yards away shows the exact moa correction as my ballistic app. I then moved to 1,000 yards from a telephone pole and the unit is showing 20.2 moa correction. My app shows 20.17 when shooting at Tac Pro and was confirmed by first round hits.
I ranged a water tower at 2,326 yards, then walked back 5 steps and reshot it at 2,331.
Once you get over the sticker shock, they are very impressive.

THEY ARE AWESOME!!! We used them last week in New Mexico. We had turrets for 1000-2500' elevation 50degrees and were shooting in 6000' elevation and 60 degrees. We input our info and then range distance and dial turrets to adjusted yard and ring steel out to 1125yds 1st shot. IMO- they're worth the sticker shock. We had a steady 10-15mph crosswind and it'd tell us how many MOA of wind to hold with the simple push of a button in 5mph increments. We played with 4 different guns in 3 calibers and it ranged anywhere from 4-7moa of wind at 1125yd based on ballistic info of each gun. We had 4 different parameters setup in the rangefinder so we could go from one gun to the other. What was cool is the distance would read 1125yd, but after it did it's calculation it would come back and say shoot anywhere from 1075-1087yds. That's a huge difference!!!

I've been slobbering over them for a couple years now. I have about $1000 worth of credit card points at Cabela's but have been having a hard time pulling the trigger - even at basically 1/2 price. I've had several rangefinders through the years. I won't say I'm especially hard on equipment, but it seems like I'm pretty bad about knocking rangefinders off of deerstand shelves before daylight. I'm a little nervous about spending $1800 on something that may or not be too fragile to stand up to these types of accidents. I'd feel better if I felt like it could be repaired if I did break it. I haven't had any interest by Bushnell or Leupold in regard to repairing rangefinders. The scope warranties are great, but not so much on electronics.

Really like mine. Great results so far. Easy set up and spot on first time out. I too took it to Tac Pro and broke a clays at 1000 with first reading. Impressive.
