    Glock 10mm Hog Slayer

I know this is a bow hunting site, but I'm very excited about my new Glock Model 40 10mm longslide!! I put a Vortex Venom red dot sight on it. On those rare occasions that I want to leave my bow at home or give it a break, I'm planning on using the new Glock to shoot hogs, axis, fallow, or whatever else wanders into the feeders.

I'm curious if any of you use a 10mm for hunting. If so, I'd love to hear about your experiences.

I handled one today for the first time and I really liked it. It was much more balanced than I thought it would be. Very nice and I hope you get to break it in soon!

That's the exact gun I have been looking at. I was thinking about the Leopold red dot. I want it to carry tracking or if I run in to pigs. Great hand cannon you got there!

Nice looking gun. A buddy of mine just got a I think g35... I may or may not be right. But his is long slide ported 40cal. He got it for deer/hogs when we go this season. There nice guns but I think I'll stick with my g42 380 acp for my back up for deer/hogs and before anyone says anything bad about the "little" round. It's all about where you put the round in your target.

Wish my 10mm was a long slide, but not enough to get rid of it.
