    re-visit 22 suppressors

So I have probably read most of the old threads, what about new info? Best 22RF can for the money, what is it? I don't currently have a 22WMR or 17, but might in the future so I don't see any reason to limit myself there. Size/weight to me isn't that big of a deal, I would rather have good suppression. And durability, it will probably get shot a lot.

Nate is going to come up in here and say Specter II, what about everyone else?

My vote is cast for the Spectre II. I looked into all of them and that's what I ended up buying. The Huntertown Arms Guardian was also one I kinda liked because of the ability to use standard tools to disassemble it. Also the location of the serial number, so you could rebuild the whole thing without another tax stamp. But I found some mixed reviews on HTA and nothing but good on SilencerCo. The price on the guardian was pretty nice though, only 200 bucks.

The Spectre II is a bad mamma jamma, a slight 1st round pop but not much. And it just feels tough. It's quickly becoming my favorite "toy" in the safe. Never had to deal with them, but I hear SilencerCo has awesome customer service.

I love my as sparrow. Disassembles with no tools, and can be rebuilt easily. Works very very well on 22lr, 17 hmr, 5.7 and 22 mag.

Spectre ii is pretty much the same can but a little lighter and cheaper.

I was reading a test over on PredatorMasters where a guy was testing them and the Sparrow had more FRP than the Spectre II.

Looks at the Surefire Ryder-S if you are looking for other options. Its a great can, about the same price as a Sparrow. Pig nosed baffle stack is super easy to take apart, clean, and reassemble.
