    7.62x39 ammo

What's the best brand of ammo in 7.62x39 y'all have used for getting tight groups at 100 yards. If that's even possible. Lol.

This is a group with Tulammo at 100 yards.

Note: I was not able to reproduce this grouping with the same ammo. Lol.

I shoot Hornady 123 grn SST and it is pretty accurate, however I shoot a AR-15 chambered in the round. TulAmmo is what I plink around with. It is cheap.

I shoot the CMMG MK47 Mutant. Pretty much an AR chambered in that round.

      Thanks!

Remington makes a 7.62x39 hunting round. I don't know how tight the grouping can get but I'd say your groups are pretty good at 100yds for that round.

My AR shoots wolf military classic 124gr HP very well.

Tested 4 types. SST won followed by Tula 124gr sp. SST works well and so does the Tula sp.

So I bought these at Cabela's. Cheap ammo. Soft point.

I was able to keep every shot in a 8" circle at 100 yards.

I tested the round out last night on a pig. He only went 25 yards.

I wouldn't be afraid to shoot a deer with this round after whacking this 200+ pound boar.

For those that shoot the steel case stuff...Hope y'all have a broken case extractor.
It happens. When a case gets stuck...the gun is a paper weight without the broken case extractor.
