    which 6mm should I build?

I have all the components for my build minus the reamer

    Manners MCS T2 (GAP camo)
    Stiller Preadator SA
    PTG "stealth" bottom metal
    Bartlein 5R 1:8 medium palma #11 (finish @ 22" or 24" with timed brake)
    Jewell HVR trigger

Got a few options on glass so I haven't fully decided yet
(NF NXS, Burris XTR II, and maybeeeeee a Kahles K624i )

I'm still undecided on what caliber I want to go with. I know I will be shooting Berger 105 VLD hunting or hybrids. I know there are several good options out there.

    I'm looking at 6mm creedmoor, 6XC, and 6x47 Lapua

I'm leaning towards the 6x47 lapua since I already shoot 6.5x47 lapua and I already have a ton of powder, brass, and CCI 450 primers

What would YOU build if you were building one today and why?

I would rule out the 6XC just because you would have to order all your brass from Tubb. According to precisionrifleblog, the 6 Creed is leading the pack. Brass can also be ordered ready to go w proper head stamp from GAP. I honestly dont think there is a wrong choice between the 6 Creed or 6x47. Just for grins, have you looked at 6 Super LR?

You can order your brass from Norma for the 6xc.....I hear the 6 creed can only get around 3 to 4 reloads out of each case due to the primer pockets loosening up so much....yes I have looked at the 6 SLR, just never really striked my interest!

You could fire form readily available 6BR's into a 6 Dasher and still have good case life but I'd really think hard about the 6XC. Tubb has plenty and if you anneal, the cost becomes a non-issue (depending on case life if you shoot hot loads). I anneal on both my 6BR and straight .284 and I'm on 10+ reloads on Lapua cases and still looking loading and shooting very well. I dig the hell outa that stock by the way!

I would go with the 6 creed simply because I don't own one of those and have owned a few 6x47's. All were fantastic rifles.

As a dissenter I wouldn't build any of them if you already have a 6.5x47 Lapua.

What are you expecting to gain?

Pretty much the reason is, is that I don't have a 6mm and I want one

Meh, fair enough I suppose. I'm at the point of caliber saturation. If I don't see a significant gain in performance, its a waste of my money and time.

So you can only do that with a 6mm?
