The wait is killing me...

I finally initiated my first custom build. The gun started out as a early 80s model Remington 700 ADL 7mm Rem Mag that my dad gave me when I was 12. I have went back and forth on using that gun or going with a new one. I decided since I have 7mm reloading components coming out my ears I would stick with that caliber. A couple years ago I upgraded the stock to a HS Precision which I glass bedded and topped the rifle with a Vortex HST 4.5-16x44mm. The rifles accuracy was adequate out to 500 yrds with the factory 24" shorter barrel. My goal for this build is to make a 1k yd gun with the assumption that one day my shooting proficiency will allow me to take advantage of its capabilities.

Build Specs:
Acion: Remington 700
Barrel: Bartlein 27" 3B contour 1:9 twist 5R rifling
Trigger: Factory for now (has crisp 3 lb trigger)
Optics: Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14x50mm (30mmm) with TS-32X1 MOA reticle
Mount: 1 Piece Mark 4 20MOA base with Mark 4 Steel Rings

Hopefully pics will be coming shortly as I may have the rifle back in as little as 2 weeks...

Should be a shooter depending on who is doing the build. It's the little things and attention to details and tolerances by the gunsmith that makes a lot of difference.
