    Nikon customer service/warranty?

I had thought my 308 didn't like 150gr ammo after trying 4 different kinds and 168gr ammo, it still was all over the place. So now it looks like the Nikon Monarch 5-20 took a dive. It is sitting in a Larue SPR-1.5 mount that I've checked 3 different times so I doubt that's it (i've used the Larue on an SBR as well and didn't have any problems with it). Has anyone sent one back before? Which scope was it and what outcome did you have?

    Thanks in advance.

I have sent Nikons Binocs back without any hassle whatsoever. I did get a Chinese set of glass back that was much lighter felt cheaper than the glass I sent for repair. But it is their option to repair or replace. They replaced for me. Took about 4 weeks and make sure you have the correct address. They moved and are sending all warranty work to their Los Angeles office. Good Luck.

Did you shoot it with another scope to be sure that is the problem? Lots of other things it could be that are not always obvious.

I just sent back two Nikon Binoculars in for repair. They are honoring the repair on both. You do it on line and you print out a shipping label, stick it on the box and send it. Nikon is first class. Same day I sent the Nikon units out I also sent three binoculars to Bushnell and a Scout 1000 Range Finder. Nikon responded 7 days before Bushnell. Bushnell is charging me to repair the Range Finder (something was loose inside) and I am still awaiting for a quote on each of the Bushnell Binoculars. Its a $10.00 shipping fee for each item to come back from Bushnell and Nikon is shipping them back to me with no shipping fees. Nikon is exceptional.

I've only tried one time and it sucked. They basically told me abuse and to go pound sand.

Haven't bought another Nikon optic since.

I sent in an old 4.5x14 buck master scope the other day and they sent me a brand new prostaff 5 3.5x14. Very pleased.

I shoot Nikon photography equipment and have never had an issue with any of it that required me to send any of it back to them.
I have heard from other photographers that their service is very good if you need it.

Welp I guess we'll find out then. I just shipped it off. I'll report back once I hear from them or get it returned with a reply.

I., Keep me posted and let me know if there's anytrhing I can do to help you out. I do freelance work for Nikon so I know a lot of folks who work directly for Nikon if you don't get satisfaction from their CS dept.

Welp, Nikon is checking it out and if needed repairing it under warranty! All it cost me is the shipping with insurance over there. I think they gained a pretty loyal customer. In the past, I've always tried to buy and stick with what I know, which is not Nikon products. I usually keep to the Zeiss, Leupold products. But now I won't have an issue buying a used upper end product of theirs.

I've removed some of my personal info.

I'm going to be contacting Nikon myself here pretty shortly it looks like. I've had a Monarch BDC 5 - 20 x 44 on a 700 7mm-08 for more years than I care to remember and have never been able to get this thing to zero, and hold it.

I finally put a Zeiss Conquest that's been sitting in the box for 4 years on it and went to the range to sight it in. After probably 200 rounds of trying to get the gun zeroed I realized it was the scope all along. The sad thing is I sent this same scope back to them 4 years ago and they said it was fine. Now I know they were full of crap. I am more than slightly perturbed about this. But on a positive note, Zeiss rocks and my gun is driving tacks like it should.
