t.c encore vs. cva apex

Well which one is the best?
Checked review on both and some are saying 3" @ 100yd.
is this what to expect out of 308 rifle out of the box?
Was thinking of getting one or the other until I read that,
Is this really what you get ???

I say encore hands down. I've never owned one but I shot a 25-06 pro hunter that would hover around an inch with a few different loads.

3" at 100? Take that gun back. Lol. TC's are excellent shooters and well capable of sub moa accuracy. I have a 14" super bull 223 pistol that shoots under an inch at 100 yards.

Yea take it back might be a problem !!!
Thats why I ask here because some of yall
have this rifle and wanted to know how
they group before I spend the $$$.

Absolutely love my encore. Have 22-250 7mm-08 and 50x209 ml. Shot coons and an axis with the 08. Shot a doe with the ml and haven't gotten to shoot the 250 yet but I am EXCITED. The 08 is way better than 3". Don't have an exact measure but I would have sold that sucker if it was that bad.

Like any gun there are poor shooters. A loose hinge pin or forend can contribute to poor accuracy. I've have a 30-06 and a 500 S&W barrels. The 06 will shoot moa. I've never measured the groups of the 500 S&W barrel.

I have a Pro Hunter in 280 Rem and its sub moa at 100. A buddy has a 308 and it's a tack driver and excellent to shoot in the pro hunter.
