    Cause of this?

Is this caused by barrel heating? Waited 4-5 minutes between shots. Or is it me?

Could be. It could also be a parallax issue. It is often the culprit when seeing split groups that are still tight like that. Usually heat or other issues will show themselves as a more random dispersion.

Still not a bad group out of the APR, I'll play with it a little more tomorrow. I think I'm getting close to THE load though.

They all look like kill shots to me.

Looking good so far. Inconsistent hold or cheek position is one more thing to look out for when you start seeing split groups. I struggle with that at times.

If it's a short action try a group where you don't come off the rifle between shots.

I'm going to double check parallax tomorrow.

This group is still 1" which isn't bad but the gun is capable of better. I bumped this load .5gr and it tightened up from the previous load. I bumped 5 more .5 which puts me at book max. See how they go tomorrow. No pressure signs so far. .010 off of the lands.

                      Stick1 is all over this!

                      What glass are you shooting?

I really wish scope manufactures would take the numbers off of the parallax adjustment.

                          This scope is not numbered.

Good glass. How did you adjust parallax?
