What ammo does your DPMS LR-308 SASS like?

I have nothing but 150gr ammo and found out this past weekend that my rifle (1-10" twist) doesn't like it. Was thinking about bumping up to 180's, but wanted to ask the all knowing TBH brethren first... and it could possibly save me some money in ammo.

Mine shoots 150 core locks decent I will say. I made some 150 hand loads and it did not like them at all. I need to get my 178 amax I have loaded for my bolt gun a try in it. I have just not had time to take it to the range.

I have a RRA and not a DPMS, but I was able to get mine to shoot lights out with handloaded 150gr Sierras. I will admit it was challenging to work up a load that shot decent, but a few different powders later and I was in business. I did that when Varget was hard to get and ended up with BLC-2.

I've seen the dpms sass system go 4 of 4 on 10" steel ring at 1k with federal gmm 168 smk. They shoot the 168amax a hair better.

Mine's a fat barrel DPMS, loves the 180 fusions.
