    Back porch dope check

    Nope not that kind

Double checking Kenton turrets on VX-3.

Shot once at 100, twice at 200 & thee at 375 & then dialed back to 0 for one last shot at 100.

Ended up 1/2 MOA on all targets so we are set.

And yes, we could have stretched to 400 but we would have had to left the shade of the porch and the ceiling fan

Love my Kentons on my 300 RUM. Ive stretched them to 700 and theyre perfect.
Were finally going to build next year. My back porch will give me a 1000 yd sot to the boundary along the little Brazos. Looking forward to it.

I am very happy with the tracking so far, I was worried that the adjustments of the VX-3 wouldn't repeat well.

Are the Kenton turrets different than Leupold's CDS turrets? Thinking about trying one of them on a Sako 85 Hunter 260 rem. 500 yds is about as far as I can shoot at my place, but if I went to NM/CO for mulies.....would the higher elevation affect POI under 500 yrds?
