How many pigs do you kill yearly? How often do you hunt pigs?

I average way less than 1 per year. We just don't have any pigs where I hunt, so no opportunity. The few I have killed have been on invites to other places.

I mainly hunt on a 150 ac property. My best guess is that I only see hogs once out of every four times I'm hunting them. I usually don't stay out late enough for them to come out. My game cams suggest 2am to 5am is the best time. If I was hunting them hard I would sleep 'til midnight and then go out.

I probably end up with 5 or 10 hogs a year.

As many as possible. This year I got on a lease in March and have 7 so far. Will be going out a lot over the next 2 months hopefully I can finish the year at 25+

Yep, I had been looking for IR illuminator that was better than the T20, my self made T20 with a 52mm beat the T20 by a good bit and the Sniper Hog Lights 66LR beats mine by a noticable margin. The 66LR beat out the T20 easily. Easily!

I normally end up killing a couple while deer hunting, but we trap anywhere from 20 to 100 or more per year depending on how thick they are on our place. The lease members keep all they want then the rest of them we give away.

I average around 7 or 8 a year for the last three years. My current lease has a lot of pigs.

Prior to that any place I hunted had limited pig populations. Maybe one a year if that.

Where I hunt, run cattle, farm, etc pigs are killed on site, or at least shot at. Pigs are a big problem for farmers and ranchers in our area so we kill all we can. I usually end up killing a handful while deer hunting, but we started hunting with NV and thermal in the last few years.

In 2012-2013 I think we killed something like 150 or so pigs. That was our best year and it has declined since. Probably closer to 75 or so a year now. A buddy of mine and I get calls from people who are having pig damage and we hunt accordingly. But I would say we specifically target pigs 25-30 times a year. Hard to say because we may hunt 2 or 3 times a week for a month then take 5 months off. Just depends on the damage the pigs are causing.

I've killed 4 this year with my bow 2 with a rifle and trapped/killed 18-20 more this year I hunted about 12-14 sits to kill those 6

None so far this year. I haven't been to the ranch at all this year.
When I was working in Dilley last year I would be at the ranch every 20 days, which went on for 4.5 months.
Still, during that time I didn't exactly slaughter them.

Friends with me kill about that many. Killed 5 myself last month and missed several. 😤

Baited roads and feeders mostly early and late. Some stalking.
Maybe 15 trips a year to various ranches.

In the last year 17. That's trapping and hunting but I only get to go a few times when deer season ends.
