First AR buyer input

I have done research and looked on here but I want some comments if possible.

Mind made up to buy a DPMS for about 600.

Want it just for plinking and maybe a little hogging.

Is DPMS quality enough a gun?

Yes. Mine has around 5000 rounds through it with minimal issues and moa accuracy.

Oracle at buds for $500.

For the use you described it will work and you'll have fun. Great thing about AR's is they are like lego's. Easy to build off of.

They can be found new for $800+/-
