Issue removing crush washer... Tips for getting it off?

Looks like it ovaled.... So it won't catch the threads to screw off.

Any tips for getting it off?

Google is saying to attempt either excessive force (I don't want to screw up the threads though) or a dremel...

Can you get a screw driver under it to lift it up to catch the threads?

Dremel tool, cut off wheel, and a steady hand.
Just cut it a little and can break it off whith a screw driver. They are not hard metal.

Dremel and cutoff wheel, be careful.

You can always chase the threads with a 1/2-28 die if you think you boogered-up the threads.

I'd snip it off b4 I went the dremel route... But that's just me.

Personally when I have them stuck like that I've bent it back with a pair of pliers and a vise.. then it would either slide right off or catch to unscrew..

Messed with it some more this morning but no luck so got a dremel and after 20 mins of praying to not hit the threads I got it off
