Getting a new shotgun for dove/duck hunting, looks at the Beretta A400 Xtreme and the Benelli SBE 2. Cant figure out which one I want, 2 totally different guns as the Beretta is gas operated and the Benelli being inertia. Would like input from folks that have used them with light loads 1 oz. and duck loads. Thanks

Have friends that shoot the A400 it is the best gun they have ever owned both are guides and doing a ton of shooting. They shoot alot of cranes and geese too and shoot alot of 3 1/2 inch thru them all day with no complaints. Spend alot of time in mud and water you cannot go wrong with Beretta I own the 391 can't tell how many times I have dropped it in the water believe I could of used it for a paddle

If it's going to be babied, get the beretta. Heavier, less recoil.
If you want a gun that can be used as a paddle on the way to the duck blind and still shoot all day, get the Benelli.
