            I load a lot of ammo for my 7mm RUM using Barnes bullets. I use H1000 exclusively. It is a great powder for my gun. I can't help you with the 300 but if you are using Barnes Bullets, they have some good load information on their website but if you will call them, they will send you an even more extensive selection.

                89 grains of Retumbo with the 210 Berger VLD hunter. 3040 ft per second out of a 28 inch barrel. Mine is money to 900yards. I can get you measurements if you need.

                      and that is why I asked, I have heard there is a big difference in the quality of the 2 brands which leads to an accuracy advantage and less prep work on 1 of them.
