I don't know why we are still talking about it. This thing should have been bought first thing when you heard of it. This is too good of a deal to pass up. If you don't like it sell the scope alone for 900 and keep the mount. There's really no way to loose on this one. Except if you keep setting on the info I'm going to search the internet find it for sale and snag it out from under you. Seriously each hour that passes that you don't buy it I lose more respect for you. Starting to get in Pepsi cop territory. Buy it.. or start telling me about how the 1911 is unrealiable. You pick.

I suspect it's do to your girly wrists that are incapable of holding (8) 100 dollar bills and a single 50.

I'm meeting him tomorrow if we can arrange it. I've never been a leupold guy but know I will have a VX7 and a VX6. I've always bought Nikon Monarchs over VX3 scopes and just recently started getting into higher end glass. The next scope I was going to buy was a Swarovski z5 for a semi custom rifle I wanted to build but this will eat up that budget. I guess I will wait till 2016 for that.

The VX-7 wasn't a great scope hence the reason it wasn't around for long.

And just FTR, the VX-6 shares the same glass as the VX-3, you just have twice the adjustment range. The coatings are better these days but the glass is the same. It's still a fantastic scope.

I have a VX-6 4-24 and a Swaro Z5 5-25. I did a side x side comparison for quite some time one day. To my eyes, yes the Swaro class is clear, brighter and a bit crisper, but the VX-6 was dang close.

I thought the 7 glass went into the 6?

Nope. VX-3 glass is the highest grade of glass they have.

I have pistols with higher magnification scopes than that. Lol.
                      Are you legally blind?

Lol. I hate shooting 100 yards at anything less than 9 power. I usually set mine at 10 to 12 power for 100 to 200 yard shots.

Any time you want to put your 1-4 to use out here you're welcome.. then you can set behind: 8.5-25.. 6.5-20... 4.5-14.. 3.5-10.. and compare.. no reason to not be able to see what your shooting at.

Heck my 22 wears a 6-18.. but I'm in wide open country out here. 1-4.. I'll leave those to the tree bearing kind.

This ^^^ is my spot with the most cover lol.

How far is it to that feeder? I would probably want an 18 power to shoot a deer under it too. :-)
