Just purchased my first suppressor today.

Got it with the muzzle break. Looks great on my 308. Now I just have to wait for the can. Looks to be about 4 months so right around rifle season it looks like.

Wait times are currently on the rise. 4 months would be nice... if you got it in 4 buy a lotto ticket. I'd guess 6 or longer.

You just think this wait is stupid.? 11-16 months was the norm on my first few. Lol.

According to the silencer shop it's about 4 - 4 1/2 months

Yea I've got my feet up and a beer. Hopefully I'll forget about it until then. Problem is I have the quick detach on my rifle now so that will remind me something is missing

Silencer shop tracks current form times... Meaning those submitted 4 months ago are now coming in... However what they don't track is trending information...

Paper Form 4's submitted in December were taking 3 months.

Paper Form 4's submitted in January were taking 3.5-4 months.

Paper form 4's submitted in February are being approved this month (4 -4.5months)

So if you look at trending data march will be 4.5 -5, April = 5, and so on and so forth. I've been in the game for a while and watch the waves roll through of approval dates. Sometimes it just depends on good old fashion luck who's desk yours lands on... But most of the time there's a trend they follow. It tends to go up more than it drops and it only drops as a result of agency adding more people to the pay roll.

Again don't hold your breath on 4 months.

Good point. I would guess that with more people taking vacations during the summer the wait time would rise

Sad day for longer waits

My first form 4 went in June 5th for a Harvester, so not quite a month in on the wait right now. Hoping to get it before hunting/coyote season, but trying to just forget about it for the moment. I am distracting myself by deciding on what I want for my second can and getting the funds rounded up to order it. Thinking an Omega or Thunderbeast for my precision rifles, but haven't made up my mind yet.

Well if Coach is right I better get comfy again. Right around the 90 day mark on my spectre (somewhere around march 24) and my harvester went in about 2 weeks behind that. Hoping I get the harvester in time to do some load development/testing before rifle season, but if it doesn't come before bow season I won't get those things done.

Yea I went with the Specwar just from reviews. Seemed it didn't hurt the accuracy ask that much and quick detach was nice!
