So for whatever reason I just jumped in a QC10 small frame lower that uses glock mags..





Anybody built one?

Things I should look out for/ stay away from?

Gonna SBR one for sure. Lol.

Wait the extra time for a barrel from QC10

This one has an adco barrel and the feed ramp was ROUGH and sharp.

Had to take it to my gunsmith for polishing.

Runs like a spotted azzed ape now

Some uppers don't fit so hot.
My aero upper won't line up

Vltor is recommended by them
Gibbz side charging uppers is another one that they recommend

Also from what's I've read on the boards, mil spec triggers work best.

Heard tales about guys trying to run Giessele triggers and getting nada.

Why would a milspec work but not a Geissele? I just bought an SD3G for my build.

Try it...they may have changed some stuff.

I'm thinking of going with a QC10 bolt and barrel. Then a LWRC UCIW stock.

This project will probably end up costing me two tax stamps. I will definitely sbr it. And can see a pistol can in my future..

As with all my builds and NFA wait times it's going to be a long drawn out process. Don't expect to see this thing in 2015.. have WAYYYY too much going on. And I'm picky. Lol.

Lwrc uciw stock
Heavy buffers 9mm buffer for that stock
JP bolt
ADCO 4.5" barrel 1/2x28
Sampson Evo keymod 7"
Diamond head buis
Bcm vertical grip
Bcm ambi charging handle
Vltor upper receiver
AAC TiRant 9

2stamp gun

Things I'd do different
Wait for the qc10 barrels and bolts to be in stock and I'd go 3.5" on the barrel

Also looking at putting a 3lug adapter on it do I don't have to worry about it unscrewing itself
