    Lower build help

I'm building a lower for my AR. The goal is to have a lower which I can run both a 16" 300bo and 223 upper.

I've got a parts kit lined out but I need help with the stock/buffer system.

I want to put a magpul MOE fixed rifle stock on this rifle. Should I go with a rifle buffer tube and spring or go with a carbine tube plus extension with a carbine spring?

Gawd, don't know those parts but Fixed stock requires a "fixed" stock tube not six position one and visa versa.

You need to make sure your stock and buffer tube are either mil spec or commercial. Either is fine as long as they are both the same. Palmetto State Armory might have some deals on a combo set if you look them up.

Also, I'm not sure about 300blk but make sure your gas system length is compatible with your buffer.

Depends on whether you want the Magpul fixed rifle stock

If you want the rifle stock, you need an rifle buffer tube, rifle buffer and rifle buffer spring.

If you want the carbine stock, you need a carbine buffer tube(I suggest mil spec, not commercial), a carbine buffer and a carbine buffer spring.
