Is it just me that Midway is missing, or have you seen this too?

Man! I used to get periodic emails from Midway, but they have really ramped it up in the past month or so.

Midway is either:

1) Missing me in a bad way.
2) Missing a lot of people in a bad way.
3) Just in the mood to run a lot of sales and advertisements lately.
4) All of the above.

I shop at Midway about once a month, but didn't buy anything last month. This month, the advertisements / sales / etc... are DAILY to my email. Sometimes, more than once a day. Yesterday, I got 3 emails!

Anyone else experiencing a sudden uptick in emails from Midway?

I've noticed an increase from Brownells as well, but not nearly as bad as the increase from Midway.

During the rush they probably increased their inventory, took on debt, and hired new employees. Now that things are slowing down they may be finding it hard to make the same amount of money.

I got tire of them so I opted out, 3 per day is too much.

I buy from them all the time but thankfully never opted in. Glad I didn't, nothing turns me away faster than blowing up my email all day long

I get them daily, however my entire wish list from there is "out of stock", so I'm not planning on making an order until it's worth to do so

Yep - I'm in the same boat. Have at least a dozen or more items on my wish list, but most of them are out of stock. Frustrating. And when one item comes back into stock, it seems two go out of stock. I'm not placing orders for one or two items at a time - That would eat me up on shipping. Tried to get some co-workers to go in on an order with me, but nobody needed anything. Oh well. It probably wouldn't have been in stock anyway.

I am opting out of their emails. Way too many and I can get what I need at the same prices her at my local sporting goods dealers.

same here several a day. I don't look at most of them. I quit shopping with them when they quit the mail flyers but I've been getting then lately guess they saw a decrease also.
