    24 gauge shotgun?

I came across these shotgun shells in an estate sale. Got a lot of old ammo for free. Too bad guns were stolen because there are some odd ball calibers.

Anyways I came across some shells that are stamped "24 Italian". The box is fiotchi. Says 24 pl and 20g on box. Anyone have any information on these?

    24 gauge shotgun?

Its a 24 gauge shell with a 20 gram shot load.

I had never heard of a 24 ga. Seems that some Italian and Spanish makers built them.

That's what I was thinking. Guess they'll get shadow boxed along with an old 10ga shell, 41 long colt shells, and 38 wcf shells.

Betting it is 20 ga. Box if from before they imported to USA.

Ya, that's new to me. I'd see a 4 and an 8 gauge before. Makes sense that older custom made shotguns could be any size, but it seems these are mass produced gauges.
