I really like the one I'm running on the 300 blk.

I've got a Vltor on mine but haven't shot it yet.

Would love just to put some together just for the knowledge of how to do it.

I've got three different models that I've picked up over the years, but would love to learn more about what the different configurations are and how to build them.

I'm the same way. I just buy a complete gun.

I dont believe in guns, they kill people. However, IF I were to be into building ARs, they MIGHT look like this..

I got the best of the cheapest!
              Leapers pro rail
              Aero lower
              PSA parts kits
Stag barrel (second one, about 10k through the first)
              Vortex dot
              MOE on the stock
              This thing won't quit!

It looks like everyone, except the pistol, has an adjustable stock. How often do you change the position of the stock? I know it looks cool.

I extend mine fully so the shorties can reach the shelf in the safe.

Tell me more about your decision to mount the RDS on the fore grip instead of the receiver.

Like Coach said, he used his to create more room in his safe, I use mine to have more room in the patrol vehicle. It's easier to deploy if it's shorter because it's not banging the roof when I take it out of the rack, so I keep mine on its shortest setting. With an adjustable stock you can also get the rifle right where you want it.

                              Yup!

When I roll with my 16" in the vehicle I keep the stock all the way forward just because it's much easier to manouver. An SBR would be ideal and I plan to get one in the near future but for now it works fine.

At the house or anywhere else I keep it in the 2nd or 3rd position. I see no reason to not get an adjustable stock.

I only extend the stock when I'm getting ready to shoot. Right after earplugs and before safety off.
