CVA Apex--Anyone Shoot One?

Looked at a CVA Apex .243 in a pawn shop today. It is priced $450 but....it also has a Nikon Monarch 4-16x42 BDC side focus scope on it. New, the scope sells for $450. Thinking I will go back tomorrow and get it if it is still there.

My boys shoot the CVA Optima Elite in 243 and 7mm-08. Great guns. I belive the Apex was the second round of the CVA OE.

These are the exchangeable barrel models. Sounds like a heck of a deal.
