Is threading a Cooper rifle a sin?

My Cooper 7/08 has become my go to gun. Shoots like a laser beam and I have killed piles of animals with it. It has a factory fluted and cerakoted barrel.

Since getting into suppressors I just hate shooting a gun without a can on it anymore. But have hesitated on this one because of it's perfect balance and a a possible decrease in value.

What do y'all think?

Yes probably is but I'm in the same boat. I have a few that I don't really want to thread and I find myself just not shooting them anymore. I will probably break down and thread them anyways.

Are you planning on selling it? It sounds like the value goes up in your mind to have it threaded and that's what counts.

It is a tool. If you believe you will enjoy/use said tool more if suppressed then have at it.

I assume that, since it sounds like such a good gun, you will never sell it. That being said, it is yours to do with what you want and value is really a non issue so go ahead and do it

Why would it matter? Lol. I'd have a merkel or Blaser threaded in a heartbeat. I for sure would have a cooper done haha. It's a gun. A tool. Enjoy it.

All of my rifles are threaded. Thread it. Shooting unsupressed is for the birds.
