Subsonic loads for Remington 700 308??

    I've got a Remington 700 AAC-SD 308 and have a Specwar 7.62 suppressor
I was wondering if any of you guys have any subsonic load data for this rifle??? Powder, bullet, case, primer???

I don't have any loads, but be very careful in loading and shooting .308 Winchester subs. That is a large case that you won't be putting a whole lot of powder into to shoot subsonic. It can lead to large velocity and pressure variances, and, at low velocities, you can get stability issues. You don't want anything but a stable bullet entering your suppressor. My advice: If you want to shoot .308 caliber subs, get a .300 blackout.

I have the same gun, the load I'm using is 13 gr of trailboss over the 220 grain round nose. Just as a warning that you may already know, when doing load development for a supressor ALWAYS test the load without the supressor to make sure they are stable. If the round is tumbling when it leaves the barrel it could be an expensive mistake with the supressor hanging off the end.

11 gr trailboss with 168 gr hornady Amax's for me.
all you hear is the click of the rifle.

I think there is a place around the DFW area that is commercially making 308 subsonic loads. Might be worth trying to locate and contact them possibly.

lead bullet with a small dose of titegroup or bullseye. you can make cat sneeze loads even without a suppressor

Beck Ammunition might be the one you're talking about. I shot some of their 208 grain subs when I first got my can and they worked well.

My favorite 308 sub load is actually a 32 acp in a chamber adapter I got from Sportsman's Warehouse. This it the honest truth... At 25 yards you hear the click of the firing pin and a slight pause then the impact on target. It might not have enough energy to kill a rat but it's fun as all get out.

Could be Beck ammo or possibly Dallas Reloads.

Following i havent had time to work up any sub loads for .308. Wish i could find some 220 grain projectiles to work with.

That opens up more possibilities. Mine is 1:12 and can't adequately stabilize the heavier pills at low velocity.
