A while back I bought a used S&W 686 pro, it was in great condition and it shot well, though I clocked some reloads and they seemed slow. I got bored one night and decided to check the cylinder gap on all my revolvers (Manuhrin MR-73 and blackhawk colt 45 as well). While the MR-73 and blackhawk were both .005 and .004", I could fit a .014" feeler gauge between my cylinder and barrel on the 686!

Long story short, I send it in the S&W (free shipping), they send it back in two weeks, cylinder spacing is now just under .006" and they replace my front sight (which was dinged up)!

Now you might argue that this shouldn't have been an issue in the first place, but it's still nice when manufacturers fix stuff with no questions asked, even from a secondary owner.
